ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2025
MIN REPORT
ACHIEVEMENTS THIS YEAR

  • The school procured school management system being used in school
  • The school managed to fence the school by 90%
  • Renovated girl’s dormitory and installed inside a water sources / tap
  • All s.4 and s.6 candidates were registered and sat for all their UNEB exams
  • Scores of AOI, CHECKLISTS and PROJECT WORK for s.3 and s.4 term 1,2,3 were submitted electronically.
  • The school constructed and it is finishing the toilet/latrine for boy’s wing
  • The boy’s dormitory was also renovated ie the walls and floors were plastered.
  • In DIT/ vocational department the school purchased ten (10) tailoring machines
  • This year unlike other years, all learners who paid for uniforms got them.
  • We conducted guidance and counselling with teachers and external counsellors
  • We registered minor cases of illness/sicknesses amongst learners and those who fell sick were always given first aid.
  • The school has got a functional computer lab with internet for research, science lab adequate for conducting practicals and fully stocked library with text books.
  • The school purchased and maintains wiifi internet in school which has enabled our teachers to constantly research and keep ahead of new curriculum and digital era.
CHALLENGES THIS YEAR
  • Delayed fees and requirements payment by most parents
  • Limited operation space ie limited rooms for ART, DIT department.
  •  Linted number of learners in school.
  • Rampant having Phones in dormitories especially girls
  •  Un wanted clothes, jackets in school.
  • Most learners did not have mosquito nets, flask, beddings, uniform, casual wears, plates, cup and practical books especially boys in s.3
  • In vocational /skilling department most learners had limited items to use for instance in tailoring, hair dressing
FUTURE PROSPECTS / plans for next year
  • Increase on enrolment especially in s.1 with 150 learners
  • Renovate all the school blocks with plaster and paint
  • Complete the fencing of the school by first term
  • Raise another class room block in the school next year.
  • Payments of school fees & requirements next year shall be expected as follows

  ASSHU, UNSA, SESMAT 9,000 Paid every term by all learners in boarding and in day section
 
NB Requirements like toilet papers, cooking oil, Omo, ream, broom, brush should be brought by learner as he/she is reporting to school on the first day.
  • We plan to construct a modern power house/ kitchen next year.
  • The school plans to have more demonstration gardens next term for greens and matooke which will improve on the diet for learners and teachers.
